Iris Software Inc, direct investment banking client is looking to hire a Core Java Developer for a Long Term Contract / Full Time opportunity.
Location: Hybrid in Jersey City, NJ or Rutherford, NJ
NO Sub Contracting; W2 or Self Incorporated ONLY.
Essential competencies, expertise, knowledge and experience
- Hands-on experience with core Java technologies (JDBC, Solace/JMS, multi-threading, XML processing, etc.)
- Hands-on experience in Micro Services. (Spring/SpringBoot)
- At least 8 years of development experience.
- Hands on experience with PL/SQL
- Working knowledge of related/relevant Linux concepts and shell scripting.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies as well as SDLC life-cycles and processes
Preferred Qualifications*
- Financial Industry experience
- Nice to have – AWS knowledge/expertise
- Hands-on experience on DevOps tools (git, JIRA, SonarQube, TeamCity/Jenkins, Nolio/Chef etc.) - Nice to have
