Lead UI Developer(Angular)

Iris's client, one of the world's Premier Investment Bank is looking to hire a strong Lead Front End Developer for a long-term contract opportunity.

Position: Lead Front End Developer

Location: Whippany, NJ (hybrid)

Required Skills:

• 10 years' experience of UI development
• Proficient understanding of Angular framework with hands on experience (3 years minimum) which includes: Angular, Typescript/ES6, Node.js and Bootstrap.
• Proficient understanding of web markup and preprocessor, including HTML5 and Sass
• Practical experience consuming RESTful API’s and JSON data format
• Practical experience with client-side testing frameworks ( preferable Jasmine and Karma )
• Previous experience dealing with large dataset, profiling and performance tuning
• Practical experience with source control system (preferable Github)
• Development experience using agile methods
• Experience with CI tooling and concepts (preferably Team City)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience working with NgRx
• Development experience with Java 1.8 and Spring Web within a Tomcat container
• Unix commands and shell scripts
• Financial experience (preferably Investment Banking)
• Experience working with distributed teams across multiple time zones
• Understanding of acceptance test driven development.
• Experience working with JIRA, Nexus and Puppet
