Software Engineer II or III

Position Title: Software Engineer

Reports To: Director of Engineering

Qualifications:

• US Citizen
• At least 5-15 years’ experience as an engineer in a highly technical, R&D, and/or manufacturing environment or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, other related field or equivalent.
• Experience and competence with designing and implementing software for complex electronic and/or electromechanical products
• Experience and competence in some or all of the following areas:
  • • Real-Time operating systems\board support package experience.
    • Systems integration and testing experience.
    • Programming of embedded processors using C, C or C# languages/dialects.
• Experience and competence documenting software code per industry standard practices.
  • • Experience with IEEE 1016 preferred.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and electronic schematics preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Project and Access preferred.

• Software design of products that meet or exceed customer requirements and Company specification 100% of the time
• On time and on budget project completion at least 90% of the time.
• High quality software documentation that meets all customer requirements.
• Ensure quality standards are met 100% of the time.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Programming of embedded processors using C, C or C# languages/dialects.
• Making technical presentations to existing and prospective clients.
• Developing efficient and cost-effective, best-value type product designs.
• Interacting with other team members to accomplish full system integration.
• Others as identified and assigned.

Salary : $99,103 - $134,097
