What are the responsibilities and job description for the Group Therapy Facilitator position at Iris Wellness Group?
Iris Wellness Group is an Outpatient Facility located in Southeast Tennessee! Our facility offers services for Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Treatment (Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient, and Outpatient programming), Outpatient Mental Health Treatment (Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient, and Outpatient programming), and Outpatient Adolescent Mental Health Treatment (Intensive Outpatient and Outpatient programming).
This facility is looking to fill contracted positions (ranging from 5-20 hours per week) for a Group Facilitator. Qualifications and positions include but are not limited to:
- Masters Level Clinical (LPC, LAPC, LMFT, LCSW, LADC)
- Associate Level Clinician (LAPC)
- Licensed Clinical Psychologist
- Masters Level Psychologist (PsyD, PhD)
- Mental Health Professional
- Licensed Practitioner (RN, ARNP, LPA, LADC)
- Board eligible or board certified Masters level Practitioner (CPA, LPA, LCSW, LMFT, LPC)
1-2 years’ experience with Substance Use Disorder, Mental Health and/or Co-Occurring Disorders preferred.
1-2 years’ experience working with adolescents in the Substance Abuse Treatment, Mental Health Treatment and/or Co-Occurring Disorders preferred.
As a Group Facilitator at Iris Wellness Group, you will provide direct services through group facilitation. Our support services provided are designed to meet the specific needs of the client and all services are provided in a professional office setting. Services are provided with an individualized client-centered approach and are delivered through intensive, time-limited, goal specific interventions. Flexibility for this position is required as groups may be scheduled in the evenings during operating hours or according to client specific schedules. Applicant is required to document appropriate clinical information in medical record in a timely manner through our designated EMR (Electronic Medical Record) system.
Requirements
- 1-2 years' experience running groups in a clinical setting.
- At least 21 years of age
- Demonstrate interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Demonstrate planning, conceptual, problem solving and analytical skills
- At least 1-2 supervisory and administrative experience in the field of Substance Abuse Treatment and/or Mental Health Treatment preferred
- Clear background check
- Clear drug screening
- Education verification
- Valid driver’s license

Pay
$35.00 per group session facilitated.
Reviews are given at 90 days and annually.

COVID-19 considerations:
Routine screening per CDC guidelines is facilitated on a daily basis in the workplace. Potential clients are screened and/or tested for COVID-19 prior to admission to the program with ongoing screening as needed.

Pay: $25.00 per hour
