Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in assisted living and senior care environments. Duties

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance residents' well-being.
• Monitor patients' health status, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Help with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring safety during transfers and activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, adhering to hygiene standards.
• Support memory care programs by engaging residents in cognitive activities tailored to their needs.
• Uphold resident rights by respecting their privacy, dignity, and independence at all times.

Skills

• Experience in assisted living or senior care settings is preferred.
• Strong skills in patient monitoring and caregiving techniques.
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR procedures is highly beneficial.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare staff.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
• Familiarity with memory care practices is an advantage.
