What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Maintenance Representative - Full Time position at IRMC?
In this role you will be:
- Performing processes and demonstrating the skills requiring related industry knowledge needed to perform with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.
- Communicating and participating in training and developing skills to perform the job functions.
- Keeping informed by reviewing communication supplied by management and payers that include comprehensive information for any changes on industry regulations and payer requirements associated with the function.
- Ensuring a high degree of customer service in the interaction with both direct and indirect customers in the completion of the functions.
- Balancing file processing as it relates to claim activity between systems, including clam follow-up, cash posting and adjustments, and collection agency reporting.
- Reporting suspected outcomes for compliance with process and policy and customer service to provide periodic feedback for reinforcement of compliance and corrective action for deficiencies.
- Identifying process deficiencies or improvements and making recommendations to your site supervisor for standard changes that will improve the performance of the represented hospital and/or pod hospitals.
- Performing cash posting and balancing by following established policies and guidelines.
- Transferring and verifying files are received while confirming the transmission size/volume is completed between entities.
- Appropriately posting adjustments by following the policies and guidelines established.
- Participating in meetings and other methods of communication needed to determine root causes of issues when working with the site supervisor.
- Working with the site manager to assist in performing system configuration and table maintenance of the assigned systems.
- Assisting as needed in system testing of updates and releases within the functional scope.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- EDUCATION: High school diploma required, with some advanced education desired
- EXPERIENCE:
- 3 years clerical experience preferred
- Supervisory experience and experience with computers required
- LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: AAHAM certification after 1 year
