What are the responsibilities and job description for the CT Technologist - Full Time position at IRMC?
In this role you will be:
- Performing and/or assisting in CT examinations as ordered by the physician.
- Able to assess and provide appropriate treatment for all patients from neonate through adult.
- Utilizing excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with patients, families, visitors, and hospital personnel.
- Able to handle a stressful workload.
- Competent in IV starts for contrast administration.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- EDUCATION: Successful completion of an approved school of radiologic technology
- EXPERIENCE: 2 years as a general radiologic technologist
- LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
- Registered with the ARRT as an RT(R) and registered in or working toward certification as an RT(CT)
- CT certification obtained within 1 year of hire
- BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire
