What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mammography Tech - Part Time position at IRMC?
Job Summary: Following established procedures, performs and/or assists in mammographic examinations and procedures as ordered by the physician.
Skills Required: Demonstrates interpersonal skills necessary to interact courteously and effectively with
patients, families, visitors and hospital personnel.
Minimum Education Required: Must have successfully completed an approved school of radiologic technology.
Minimum Experience Required: One year as a radiologic technologist.
Licensure/Certification Required:
- Must be registered with the ARRT as a RT(R) and registered in or working toward certification as an RT(M).
- Mammography certification must be attained within 12 months.
- Must be BLS certified required (or obtain within one month of hire).
