DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
In this role you will be:
- Providing basic nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
- Exemplifying the IRMC mission, vision, and values, acting in accordance with IRMC policies and procedures to ensure quality care is provided.
- Utilizing excellent interpersonal communication skill to effectively communicate with patients, family, and members of the organization.
- Performing a variety of assigned tasks
- Identifying each patient’s age-specific needs and providing appropriate care as assigned
- Will be required to float to all units, including geropsych, adult, and adolescent.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- EDUCATION: A high school graduate or equivalent.
- EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 1 year med-surg and/or geriatric experience
- LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
- BLS required or attained within 1 month of hire.
- Successful completion of approved Certified Nursing Assistant Program
