What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiology Tech - Full Time position at IRMC?
Summary: Following established procedures, performs and/or assists in radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations as ordered by the physician. Is able to assess and provide appropriate treatment for all patients from neonate through adult.
Skills required: Demonstrates interpersonal skills necessary to interact courteously and effectively with patients, families, visitors and hospital personnel. Ability to deal with stressful situations and heavy work loads.
Minimum Education Required: Must have successfully completed an approved school of radiologic technology.
Licensure/Certification Required: Must be registered with the ARRT. Must be BLS certified required (or obtain within one month of hire).
