DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Follows established procedures and competently performs safety and security functions to insure maximum protection of patients, visitors, hospital employees, and hospital property. Promotes and adheres to the IRMC core values of ICARE (Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence) and G.R.E.A.T. (greet/respond/explain/ask/thank) customer service standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
In this role you will be:
- Assisting the director as well as working with key control, photo IDs, card access, Kronos time and attendance, scheduling, fire drills and documentation, and the training and competency of officers.
- Utilizing excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Performing repetitive duties and alert in making decision in emergency and crisis situations.
- Answering customers’ questions and requests for assistance in a timely, accurate, and courteous manner.
- Proper application of subject control tactics.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- EDUCATION: High school graduate
- EXPERIENCE: Previous safety/security experience preferred
- LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
- Valid PA driver’s license
- BLS preferred
