Iron Bear Trailer in Denver is now hiring a full time Purchasing Agent to join our growing company. This position is responsible for supporting the purchasing process and ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain, including inventory control, buying, and negotiating with suppliers. The successful candidate will have experience in purchasing or supply chain management and will be proficient with NetSuite & Microsoft Office.
Essential Job Duties Include:
Support the entire procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing products and services
Manage inventory levels, including tracking and maintaining inventory records
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
Utilize NetSuite system to track and manage inventory and purchasing processes
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
Assist in the implementation of new systems and technologies
Analyze data to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs
Provide support to other departments as needed
The ideal candidate must have the following skills and abilities:
Proven experience (at least 3 years) in purchasing or supply chain management
Well organized and detail oriented
Knowledge of inventory control and management processes
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Experience with E-commerce platforms is an asset
