High School Senior Photographer
Overview: We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic photographer to join our dynamic team, specializing in capturing memorable moments for High School Seniors. The ideal candidate will have a passion for photography, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. This role involves working closely with students, school administrators, and fellow team members to produce high-quality images that commemorate the school experience. While your primary focus will be on senior portraits during the summer season, there is potential for this role to evolve into a full-time, year-round position with additional responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- High School Senior Sessions:
- Specialize in creating unique and personalized photo experiences for High School Seniors.
- Stay current with trends and creative approaches in High School Senior photography.
- Collaboration with School Staff:
- Communicate effectively to address any specific requirements or considerations for each school or senior session.
- Posing and Direction:
- Provide clear and friendly guidance to students during photo sessions to capture natural and expressive poses.
- Encourage a positive and comfortable atmosphere to bring out the best in each subject.
- Equipment Setup/Maintenance and operation:
- Set up, operate and maintain photography equipment, including cameras, lenses, and lighting. Troubleshoot technical issues with cameras, lighting, and other equipment as needed.
- Maintain and clean photography equipment after each use.
- Ensure equipment is in optimal condition for each session and troubleshoot any technical issues.
- Customer Interaction:
- Interact professionally and courteously with students, parents, and school staff.
- Address inquiries and provide information about photo packages and ordering options.
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Proficiency in photography equipment and editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop) is a plus
- Experience as a photographer with a portfolio is not required but is a plus
- Must have dependable transportation
- Must be able to pass a background check along with a drug test.
