What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Operator position at Iron Coast Construction?
Iron Coast Construction is looking to add an experienced heavy equipment operator to our growing team! ICC is a commercial sitework company that strives for quality and efficiency on all projects and understands that the employees are what drives those principals. Duties Include but not Limited to:
- Operating Heavy Equipment Safely and Efficiently
- Operation will Include Excavation, Trenching, Material Handling, Backfilling and Grading
- Daily Maintenance of Heavy Equipment
- Communicating with Other Employees and Truck Drivers for Daily Operations
- Lending a Hand on the Ground when Needed
- Keeping Equipment Clean
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 Years of Earthwork Heavy Equipment Experience (Excavator, Bulldozer, Skidsteer, and Roller)
- Good Attitude
- Ability to Work with Others While Being Able to Complete Tasks and Small Projects on Their Own
- Basic Understanding of Plan Reading and Elevations (Preferred)

Iron Coast Construction is based out of Ellsworth Maine with a work radius of approximately 1 hour to ensure our employees are home nightly. Pay will be based on experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour
