What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Aide position at Iron County Medical Care Facility?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow facility polices.
- Uses care with supplies and equipment.
- Participates in in-service programs.
- Obtains food and supplies as required.
- Assists in ordering, checking and storage of all supplies.
- Follows posted schedule and job assignments.
- Assists in serving meals and loading food carts.
- Assists in washing dishes according to procedure.
- Follows cleaning schedule
- . Assists in meal set-up.
- Follows standardized recipes.
- Performs other duties as required by Director of Dietary Services, Dietary manages and/or Administrator.
Education and Training:
Must be 18 years of age, graduated from high school or equivalent, should have one-years' experience working in quantity food preparation, preferably in a healthcare setting. During times of staffing stress, less experience may be acceptable.
