Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team as a Hospitalist. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide high-quality patient care, diagnose and treat various medical conditions, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines
- Prescribe medications and treatments as necessary
- Perform procedures such as cardiac catheterization, catheter care, airway management, and ophthalmology screenings
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on disease prevention, health promotion, and management of chronic conditions
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Utilize electronic health record systems (such as Epic) for accurate documentation and communication of patient information
- Participate in utilization management activities to ensure appropriate utilization of healthcare resources
- Adhere to professional standards, ethical guidelines, and legal regulations in the delivery of healthcare services
Experience:
- Minimum of [X] years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a clinical setting
- Experience in pediatrics or behavioral health is highly desirable
