Join our team as a Maintenance Technician where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facilities. We are seeking two skilled individuals with expertise in electrical and mechanical maintenance, leadership capabilities, and a strong focus on customer service.
As part of the property management and maintenance team, this position is responsible for general maintenance and repair of a Multi Family property with 380 units. This includes plumbing, electrical, access control and HVAC maintenance as well as any other duties assigned by the company. This position will be able to communicate effectively with tenants, investors, visitors, and anyone else he or she encounters on the job.
Job Duties (Others may be assigned by Management):
- Responsible for the timely and satisfactory completion of any and all maintenance, repair, inspections, make ready, trash out, and/or renovation
- Work Orders as needed
- Immediately notifies company of any problems, and /or delays concerning the timely completion of a work order
- Provides company with timely updates noting completion, delays and / or problems with completion of every Work Order assigned
- Provides Office with itemized receipts for any materials necessary in completion of Work Order within 24 hours of purchase
- Ensures that all work product is done in accordance to company Standard Operating Procedures
- Communicates clearly and professionally with all contractors, employees, tenants, investors and vendors
- HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, janitorial, and other building maintenance services completed to applicable building code(s) as designated on Work Order and/or as instructed per supervisor on construction projects
- Maintain common areas and grounds to ensure a clean, safe and pleasant environment for all tenants, contractors, employees, investors and vendors
- Complete make-ready maintenance as needed.
- Complete building and common area maintenance including Snow Removal when applicable
- Identify and correct hazardous property conditions
- Assist with Preventative Maintenance Program
- Perform and document Annual Fire Alarm inspection
- Maintain fire, carbon monoxide, smoke and other safety systems
- Assist with and/or Evacuate building(s) in the event of an emergency
- Adhere to the OSHA Safety Programs, policies, and procedures
- Perform all other services as designated by Work Order
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:
- Available for ‘after hours’ emergencies as well as holidays and weekends
- Maintain communication skills and professionalism with the residents and staff
- Must maintain Valid Driver's License, Automobile insurance and reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass criminal and drug screening
- General knowledge of Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, Mechanical, HVAC and basic building maintenance

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
