Overview
The Martial Arts Team Director is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of the after-school Taekwondo program. This role involves assisting the lead instructor during the after-school Taekwondo program and managing the procedures required for each individual school. The individual in this role will serve as the Program Manager during classes, ensuring a high level of discipline, engagement, and safety. Additionally, the Program Manager will handle inquiries from parents, assist with student sign-ups, and manage the program’s online presence through content creation for social media.
Key Responsibilities:
- After-School Program Management:
- Supervise and organize the after-school Taekwondo program, ensuring a structured and enjoyable experience for all students.
- Assist Lead Instructor during after-school Taekwondo classes.
- Floor Leader/Manager during Classes:
- Oversee the flow of classes, making sure each staff member is doing their part in contributing to the success of the class.
- Program Management:
- Serve as a main point of contact for parents, answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Communicate any important program information or changes to parents in a timely manner.
- Manage the sign-up process for new students, ensuring all forms and payments are properly handled.
- Social Media & Content Creation:
- With any free time, gather content for social media.

- Ability to work with children and maintain a positive, encouraging environment
Qualifications:
- Must enjoy working with kids
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must have reliable form of transportation
- Age 21
- Management experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Interest/Experience in Martial Arts is a plus but not mandatory

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
