Painter

Titanium Painting and Construction, an entity of Iron Gate Collective, is seeking to hire 2 new paint team members.

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential repaints, new construction painting, exterior painting/staining. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The Painter will be responsible for ensuring high-quality finishes while adhering to safety standards on the job site.

Duties

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed.
• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Perform correct prep work (caulking, small drywall repair, etc.) to ensure smooth surfaces and proper sealing.
• Operate paint sprayers, power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various tasks.
• Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople on construction sites to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.

Skills

• Proficiency in construction painting techniques with an eye for detail.
• Familiarity with using power tools and hand tools relevant to painting tasks.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members on construction sites.
• A commitment to safety practices in all aspects of work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
