We are seeking a Steel Detailer & Estimator to join our team and take on a dual role in steel detailing (CAD design) and estimating. While experience in the steel fabrication industry is preferred, we are open to candidates who have experience with AutoCAD or other CAD software and are eager to learn about our specific processes.
This is a hands-on, full-time role where you’ll work directly alongside the owner and play a key part in the day-to-day operations of the business. Key Responsibilities :
Steel Detailing (CAD Design) :
Create detailed drawings and plans for steel structures using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
- Ensure designs meet project specifications, industry standards, and safety codes.
- Collaborate with the fabrication team to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective.
Estimating :
Review project specifications and plans to prepare cost estimates.
