Restaurant Accountant

Iron Hill Brewery is looking for a Restaurant Accountant!

As a Restaurant Accountant, you will play a vital role in supporting the administrative functions of multiple restaurants within our portfolio. This position requires a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a willingness to contribute across various areas of our operations.

This is a full-time non-exempt role working primarily on location at our Home Office location in Exton, PA.

Some Essential Functions of the position:

• Handle invoice processing tasks, including data entry, corrections, and approvals.
• Manage and reconcile store inventory ledgers
• Utilize company ERP system (Restaurant 365) to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently
• Review daily sales reports and P&L statements, including deposits, paid outs, and labor costs.
• Conduct research on cash over/short discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
• Manage onboarding procedures, including hosting employee orientations.
• Processes and reviews payroll information for accuracy, submitting corrections as needed.
• Maintain accurate headcounts and information in the HRIS system including processing and submitting requests.
• Track and document health/safety certifications for field teams.
• Continually communicates with field management teams to ensure accuracy of Accounting and HR information.
  
  

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business or equivalent experience and certifications.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in restaurant accounting or operations.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to adapt and contribute to various tasks to support restaurant operations.
• Outgoing, friendly, welcoming demeanor
• Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal staff and outside partners/vendors
• Interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Ability to professionally interact with all levels of personnel required. The position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.
• Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently or on a team, prioritize objectives, and exercise independent judgment.
