Position Overview: As a server at Iron Horse Bar and Grill, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests. Your friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and enthusiasm will contribute to creating a memorable dining experience that keeps our patrons coming back. You'll be responsible for taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude, creating a positive first impression.
- Present menus, provide recommendations, and answer questions regarding menu items.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar promptly.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and quality in presentation.
- Monitor guest needs and promptly respond to any additional requests or special requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including setting and resetting tables.
- Handle guest payments, process transactions accurately, and return change or receipts as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless communication and smooth service flow.
- Uphold health and safety standards, following proper food handling and sanitation guidelines.
- Engage with guests, address any concerns or complaints, and escalate to management if necessary.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
