Responsibilities:
- Warm Welcome: Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude as they arrive, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
- Seating Guests: Escort guests to their tables, ensuring they are seated in a timely and organized manner, considering server rotations and section assignments.
- Knowledgeable: Familiarize yourself with the restaurant layout and table availability to optimize seating arrangements.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the host/hostess area clean and organized, including the entryway and waiting area.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with servers and kitchen staff regarding table assignments and guest needs.
- Customer Assistance: Provide information about the menu, specials, and any promotions. Answer guest questions and accommodate special requests.
- Reservation Management: Manage reservations and ensure accurate seating arrangements for reserved parties.
- Multi-Tasking: Handle multiple tasks simultaneously during peak hours, maintaining a high level of efficiency.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with fellow team members to create a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for our guests.
