Train Conductor / Switchman
Location: Iron Horse Terminals – Beaumont Yard

Iron Horse Terminals is hiring experienced Train Conductors and Switchmen to join our team at our expanding Beaumont facility. - Operate locomotives and manage train movements in the yard and over the road
- Inspect, couple/uncouple cars, throw switches, and make minor repairs
- Follow all FRA and company safety regulations and protocols
- Use radio and hand signals to communicate clearly and effectively
- Execute switch lists provided by the Trainmaster in a timely and safe manner
- Maintain awareness of surroundings and report safety or security concerns
- Licensed engineer or conductor, or qualified and experienced to be certified upon hire
- High school diploma or GED
- Transportation or rail operations experience
- Strong understanding of railroad rules and FRA regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including a 24-hour on-call schedule, overtime, weekends, and holidays
- Solid communication skills—verbal, written, and interpersonal
- Problem-solving mindset with strong judgment and accountability
- Commitment to working safely and professionally in a team environment
- Physically able to perform manual labor, work outdoors, and wear required PPE
