Description
- An MPD Technician is responsible for the installation and operation of the MPD Control System on rigs.
- Understand technical aspects of the MPD activities.
- Prepare and load jobs, including cleaning, inspecting, and performing technical repairs and service work.
- Perform maintenance and system checks on the MPD equipment.
- Operate forklifts for loading and unloading jobs.
- Clean, service, and refurbish tools as required.
- Be available on a 24-hour basis to respond to customer needs.
- Comply with all safety rules and company policies.
- Perform work assignments to the highest quality standards.
- Assist with inventory management.
Working Conditions:
- This job operates in outside conditions that may include inclement weather, heat, humidity, and chemicals.
- Noise levels may be loud at times.
- Regularly involves stooping, squatting, kneeling, and crouching for extended durations.
- Periodically requires pulling and pushing and frequently lifting and carrying objects up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent climbing of stairs.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Basic mechanical and math skills.
- Understanding of electronic circuits and reading schematics is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrate good communication skills.
- Read and understand written procedures in English.
- Valid driver's license.
