What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Manager position at Iron Horse Tools?
- Administer compensation for hourly employees.
- Administer benefit plans for all new hires and current employees.
- Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes, while collaborating with Districts and Corporate management.
- Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee complaints, allegations of misconduct, and policy violations. Document findings and provide recommendations based on investigation outcomes.
- Maintain weekly recruiting goals/needs for all districts. Meet with CEO weekly to go over the progress of such goals for all districts.
- Conduct employee onboarding and complete company new hire check list. Help organize training & development initiatives through Iron Horse University as well as onsite.
- Create onboarding plans and educate newly hired employees on Company policies, internal procedure, and regulations.
- Generating official internal documents such as offer letters and warning letters.
- Administer termination process and procedures.
- Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form. Ensure all employee records comply; insurance, driver licenses, background checks and driving records.
- Assist executive management with tasks related to performance management such as: job descriptions, employee performance and appraising pay scales.
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations for all districts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field with 5 years of proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, investigations, and compliance OR 8 years of experience in lieu of education.
- Preferred knowledge of Paycom and DISA.
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
- Good knowledge of employment/labor laws.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Aptitude in problem-solving.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
