What are the responsibilities and job description for the Portable Toilet Tech position at Iron Mountain Demolition and Roll-Off?
· Safely drive a designated vehicle (such as a truck or van) to deliver portable toilets to assigned locations.
· Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations during transit.
· Efficiently load and unload portable toilets onto/from the vehicle using appropriate equipment and techniques.
· Ensure secure fastening during transportation to prevent damage.
· Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery and pick-up of portable toilets.
· Communicate effectively with dispatchers to coordinate any changes or updates to routes.
· Conduct basic maintenance checks on the vehicle and portable toilets before and after each trip.
· Clean and sanitize interior surfaces, including seats, walls, and floors.
· Service unites, and replaces toilet paper, hand sanitizers, and other necessary supplies.
· Conduct routine maintenance checks on portable toilets for leaks, damage, or malfunctions.
· Complete required paperwork accurately and promptly, including delivery/pick-up logs, vehicle inspection reports, and any other relevant documentation.
· Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines governing the transportation and handling of portable toilets, including environmental regulations and safety standards.
· Be prepared to respond to emergencies or incidents on the road, such as accidents or breakdowns, following established company protocols and procedures.
· Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
· Follow proper procedures for the disposal of waste materials.
Qualifications:
· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
· Experience driving commercial vehicles preferred.
· Ability to safely operate and maneuver large vehicles in various road and weather conditions.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects repeatedly.
· Excellent communication and customer service skills.
· Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
