Our art-handling expertise has earned the trust of artists, collectors, dealers, galleries, and museums worldwide for four decades.We aim to be the primary service provider for the people and entities responsible for the care, movement, and long-term preservation of art and culture.To that end, our _Class A, CDL Art Transportation Drivers_ are responsible for ensuring the safe handling of artwork, during transit, from one Crozier facility to another. In addition, the candidate will be assisting with the loading and unloading of freight, ensuring the integrity of all artworks stays intact.RESPONSIBILITIES Handle and move artworks, including wrapping, packing and crating using appropriate techniques and materials Planning the organization, load / unload trucks to ensure safe transit Conduct inspection reports for various types of art objects. Act as liaison while onsite between clients and company management. Safely operate company vehicles and transport artwork to multiple locations in the US Maintain compliance with all local, state, DOT regulations Perform all required truck inspections.QUALIFICATIONS At least 21 years old with a valid CLASS A CDL driver's license and good driving record At least one year of route transportation experience preferred Pass pre-employment substance abuse screening, background check, and DOT physical Demonstrate safe, efficient driving skills and maintain all security procedures Exhibit strong customer service and verbal communication Grip, lift, push, pull, carry recycling bins over, up, and down inclines, stairs, and surfaces Lift at least 70 pounds; push / pull bins 25 to 350 pounds, average weight 170 pounds Walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of timeWHAT WE OFFER An ever-evolving global organization focused on transformation and innovation A support system in which you can voice your opinion, share feedback, and be your authentic self Global connectivity to learn from teammates who share your passion for art Competitive benefits to support your career, family, personal wellness, and financial wellbeing Pay : $27.00 to $31.00 / hour ( _Depending on Experience_ ), plus $.50-.60 / mile, Paid Bi-Weekly Per Diem : $100 / day Schedule : OTR Plus Overtime and Travel is required Base Location : Lanham, MD 20607Elevate the power of your work.
