Iron Oak Energy is seeking a Millwright to be based out of the company's Wedron Silica, IL. operating facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in a safe manner and abide by all company and MSHA safety rules, regulations and best practices.
- Maintain plant equipment in good and safe working condition that assures continuous smooth plant operation.
- Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
- Dismantle machines using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and other hand tools.
- Move and install machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
- Assemble and install equipment using hand tools and power tools.
- Construct foundation for machines, using hand tools and building materials.
- Align machines and equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rulers, micrometers, and plumb bobs.
- Assemble machines, and bolts, rivets, or otherwise fastens them to foundation or other structure.
- Repair and lubricates machines and equipment.
- Replace, install, and wire electrical components such as motor, feeders, etc.
- Check monitor and maintain proper fluid levels on all mobile equipment. Grease bucket pins and boom arm at the end of shift.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- 5 years of experience required.
- Ability to arc weld
- Ability to lift 10-15 pounds as needed
