Diesel Technician

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with the ability to work on various types of vehicles. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues while ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems.
• Diagnose mechanical problems using schematics and technical manuals.
• Conduct inspections of shocks, struts, and other components to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment for repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service quality.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in diesel technology.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in automotive repair or vehicle maintenance, specifically with diesel engines.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
• Proficient in using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and other related tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications or training in diesel technology is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.64 - $28.84 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 60 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
