Job Title: Fiber Break Fix Field Service Technician || L2 Support

Job Responsibilities:
- Support field dispatch team in replacing Cameras AOS shelf sensors Gates and POS troubleshooting.
- Work to be performed mainly in a retail setting after hours and on weekends.
- Tech is required to update the customers’ ticketing system in real time and escalate as needed.
- Tech to be proficient in following run books and SOP’s and working independently.
- Updating and recording of activities in relevant IT Ticket management system, coordinating and agreeing attendance time and date with key stakeholders.
- Labelling, patching, and asset tagging activities, perform installation as needed either through physical or network medium.
- Follow specific task instructions and provision necessary reporting as necessary and support either through phone, remote tools, or in person onsite.
- Conduct failure analysis, perform functional testing of entire system/Identify failed Component, planned maintenance or circuit migration support.
- Power cycling, running diagnostics commands, conducting whole unit replacement.
- Replacing defective components, assisting with fault diagnosis and investigation.
- Replacing faulty cables.
- Rebooting routers, servers, or other equipment and maintenance
- Providing loop-back cables to test circuits remotely, re-seating or replacing components or cables.
Technical Skills-
- Good understanding of Low voltage & IT principles such as networks, hardware, ITIL methodology
- Tech should have POS and telecom experience.
- Technician should be proficient in windows and Office applications.
- Infrastructure (Data center and network) hardware architecture as to understand the procedure shared by L2 teams during troubleshooting,
- Understanding of current and legacy hardware Infrastructure platforms.
- Data/Fiber/Copper cable installation, maintaining both wired and wireless networks.
- Hands-on experience in installation and troubleshooting Infrastructure (DC & Network) equipment's, rack, and stack of the equipment/cable.
- Hands-on experience in IMAC and break-fix activities related to infrastructure environment.
- Ability to identify defective spares and replace them with provided good spares as instructed and by physical observations.
- Best practices control and monitoring of server infrastructure, familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $55.71 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3 per week
