Iron Will Dog Lodge - Kennel Tech/Yard tech

Full-time or part time kennel tech/yard tech position available! We have two shifts: Sunday to Wednesday and Wednesday to Saturday. If you are unable to work during these shifts, please refrain from applying. The information below provides essential details about the position.

All new employees start at our facility in an entry-level role at the wage specified in this listing and will undergo training to familiarize themselves with our policies and procedures. We are always on the lookout for individuals capable of taking charge; if you exhibit those skills, we will promote you swiftly to available positions, along with a corresponding pay increase.

Each shift consists of one weekend day, totaling 3.5 days on and 3.5 days off each week, which translates to 35-40 hours weekly, (part-time hours would be less than 32 hours a week) with opportunities for overtime. Please note that this job will require you to work on holidays if they coincide with your scheduled shifts.

Job requirements include: We are searching for a very active, highly motivated individual with attention to detail, the ability to follow directions, a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, rapid learning capabilities, strong work ethic, loyalty, and trainability.

As a premier dog boarding and daycare facility, we uphold exceptionally high standards in our operations. Our work environment is fast-paced, and you will be on your feet throughout the day, accumulating many steps. Duties include extensive cleaning of the facility both inside and out, which involves sweeping and mopping floors, pressure washing concrete, handwashing kennels multiple times each day, washing dishes, completing laundry, disinfecting surfaces, cleaning up pet waste, and providing care for the dogs, including feeding, watering, administering medications, bathing, brushing, blow drying, nail trimming, engaging with dogs, and supervising them in large groups—all while maintaining a focus on cleanliness and organization.
