Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bilingual Warehouse Associate (English/Spanish) to manage and oversee key aspects of inventory control, including cycle counting and physical inventory. This role ensures the accuracy of inventory records, supports efficient warehouse operations, and plays a critical role in maintaining proper stock levels. Key Responsibilities:
- Cycle Counting:
Conduct regular cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
Document and report findings to the Inventory and Operations Manager.
- Physical Inventory Management:
Assist in planning and executing physical inventory counts.
Ensure inventory storage areas are organized and compliant with company standards.
Identify and report damaged, obsolete, or excess inventory.
- Inventory Control:
Update and maintain accurate inventory records in the MRP System.
Collaborate with team members to ensure inventory is properly labeled and stored.
Monitor stock levels and report potential shortages or surpluses.
- Warehouse Operations Support:
Communicate with cross-functional teams to address inventory-related issues.
Assist in receiving, stocking, and shipping tasks as needed.
Adhere to all safety and operational guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Language Skills: Fluency in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations or inventory control. Familiarity with cycle counting and physical inventory processes.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with inventory management systems (e.g., WMS, ERP) and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to use barcode scanners and other inventory tools.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working in a warehouse environment, including standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of inventory best practices and warehouse safety standards.
- Forklift certification or experience (a plus).
