IronBody Studios is searching for a dedicated and passionate Mat Pilates Instructor to join our team at our Madison Heights, MI location. Our mission is to inspire and support our clients in reaching their health and fitness goals through personalized and engaging fitness experiences. Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering predesigned workouts to diverse groups of up to 15 members
- Inspiring, energizing, and motivating clients throughout their class/session
- Ensuring member safety regarding heart rate and proper exercise technique
- Modifying exercise options to accommodate various skill levels and needs
- Attending regular fitness staff meetings and educational presentations
- Arriving 15 minutes prior to the start of each class/session
- Following studio cleaning guidelines provided by Studio Manager at the end of each class/session
- Contacting all first session participants via email within 24 hours of first session
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum one year experience leading fitness groups required
- Must hold current fitness certification from an approved certifying organization as well as CPR/AED
- Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique and body mechanics required
- Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
- Desire to motivate clients is required along with outstanding communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to safely lift and move up to 40 pounds
