CAD drawer and Plasma Table operator

Overview
We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in mechanical knowledge and be proficient in using CAD software to create detailed drawings and models. This role is essential for supporting our engineering and design teams, ensuring that all projects meet the highest standards of quality and precision.

Also looking for someone that has knowledge of plasma table operation. This would not be a full time job - but the hours are flexible

Duties

• Develop and produce detailed CAD drawings and models based on specifications provided by engineers.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand project requirements and ensure accuracy in designs.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances in designs.
• Perform quality inspections on completed drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Read and interpret blueprints to accurately translate design concepts into technical drawings.
• Assist in the setup and operation of milling machines, cranes, and other equipment as needed for prototype development.
• Maintain organized records of all CAD files, revisions, and project documentation.

Qualifications

• Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) with a strong understanding of 3D modeling techniques.
• Mechanical knowledge with experience in quality inspection processes.
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
• Ability to read blueprints effectively and understand technical specifications.
• Experience operating forklifts and cranes is a plus.
• Knowledge of programming related to CAD applications is beneficial but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.

Pay: $24.74 - $26.69 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
