Duties
- Supervise and coordinate banquet staff during events to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Train new employees on service standards, food safety protocols, and POS systems.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation and presentation.
- Manage event setup and breakdown, ensuring all equipment is in place and functioning properly.
- Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Assist in the development of training programs for staff to enhance their skills in hospitality management and customer service.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations throughout all banquet operations.
- Work closely with catering teams to plan menus and execute event logistics effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in banquet or catering settings.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and staff alike.
- Familiarity with POS systems and their operation in a banquet setting.
- Experience in training development for staff members is highly desirable.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed for events.
- Background in hospitality management or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
