Job Summary
The IRONMAN Group is seeking an energetic and creative social media intern to support the overall communication strategies for all of The IRONMAN Group's brands which includes IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3, the Rock 'n' Roll Running Series, UTMB World Series events and other events in the portfolio. This role will specifically focus on partnership activations across TIG's social channels. The ideal candidate is confident, driven, willing to learn, and interested in the crossover of traditional media and new media within the growing endurance sports industry. This is an unpaid remote position with 20 hours / week for college credit only. The start date of the position is March, with a minimum duration of the position until the end of October / November.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in writing and posting on our social media channels
- Assist with content screening & management (DAM, other external storage)
- Assist in sponsor-related postings and reporting
- Stay up to date in the triathlon and social media world for news and updates
