IronRoad is conducting a confidential search for a Golf Cart Mechanic in Fairfield, Ohio. Any candidate that applies and would like to be considered for the position must have 3 years of Golf Cart/ Small Engine repair experience. The Golf Cart / Small Engine Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining golf carts and related equipment, ensuring they are in optimal working condition for daily operations, including routine maintenance and addressing any mechanical or electrical issues.
Responsibilities:
Diagnosis and Repair:
Thoroughly diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on golf carts and other golf course equipment (e.g., mowers, tractors, utility vehicles).
Perform repairs to manufacturer and customer specifications.
Troubleshoot and identify the root cause of problems.
Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing oil, checking fluid levels, rotating tires, and replacing worn parts (e.g., brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors).
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance schedules.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Inventory Management:
Manage inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
Customer Service:
Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries regarding service and repairs.
Explain automotive problems and repairs to clients.
Other Duties:
May supervise work of assistant mechanics or contract work.
Participate in training programs for new technicians.
Contribute to the development of training programs for existing staff.
Full-Time
25.00 – 30.00 per hour based on your skill & experience and determined by the hiring manager
