We are searching for a direct hire, full-time Lease Administration Specialist / Accounts Payable Specialist that will work out of our clients Dayton, Ohio office. Overview :
The Lease Administration Specialist / Accounts Payable Specialist will execute collections on all tenant open receivables. They are responsible for processing monthly charges for all tenants and accurately and timely process billings to tenants for reimbursements. In addition, they process daily deposits in system for tenants and others as well as research and resolve open billing disputes. Finally, they review and extract tenant lease information to ensure proper tenant compliance and billing for the building's ownership. A strong Lease Administration Specialist will have extensive, hands-on experience with collections and general accounting. In addition, they will have the ability to read and comprehend general business instructions, short correspondence, and memos as well as the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one with tenants and associates of the company. A successful Lease Administration Specialist will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to complete job duties with high degree of accuracy. They will be self-disciplined and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently, with minimal supervision. In addition, they will have developed written and verbal communication skills, proven interpersonal skills with experience providing administrative support in a high-profile environment with tact and diplomacy all while maintaining standards of professionalism for the organization in the areas of confidentiality, teamwork, timely and effective communications, enforcement of company policies, and the highest of standards surrounding customer service.
Regular attendance is required during normal working hours. Work beyond 40 hours per week may be required on occasion.
Qualifications & Experience :
- Associate Degree (A.A.) in accounting or equivalent from two-year college plus three to four years of general accounting experience and / or training. Or three to four years related experience plus three to four years of general accounting experience and / or training.
- Experience in lease administration software / systems
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Intermediate or higher data entry skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
