IronRock Tap House is a locally owned and operated upscale casual restaurant in a unique and welcoming venue. We are looking for someone who is a strong leader and can make sure that the team members meet the needs of our customers while working efficiently.
Your main duties in this position will be: training your crew in proper food service and hospitality techniques, writing work schedules and making sure that all shifts are correctly filled. For new team members, you may need to manage them closely until they are familiar with the protocols of the restaurant.You will also be charged with opening and closing the restaurant, ordering product and supplies to established par levels, managing reservations and quality checks with each table to ensure that our guests are satisfied.Among the supervision duties, you will be responsible for all team members following proper food handling, cleanliness and service standards. This includes making sure that food is stored correctly and disposed of properly. This will also include making sure that the tables are cleaned to restaurant standards between each party.This job requires you to be flexible. Problems will arise quickly and will need to be resolved just as quickly. You will need to be able to shift gears in order to resolve problems. Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment and we need a manager who will meet our various needs as they come up. You will need to be able to manage multiple functions of the restaurant at once.Being an independent worker is a must; once you are familiar with the workings of the restaurant we will expect you to manage the crew members with little supervision. Being able to manage your own time is crucial to be successful. Your primary focus needs to be on the service flow during all shifts, administration work is best accomplished before or after service. You will also need to stay calm in stressful situations and have the ability to think on your feet.To be successful in this position you will need strong leadership and management skills and enforce compliance with food health and safety regulations.The ideal candidate will be able to handle stressful situations while delivering excellent customer service and has several years of experience in restaurant service. The Team Leader is a key member of the store management team and is responsible for the overall operations of the store. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional with a commitment to customer service. The goal is to provide excellent customer service, manage inventory, meet sales goals, and maintain financial performance.
Responsibilities:
-Ensure customers receive the product they need.
-Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback team members.
-Maintain outstanding customer service and ensure customers are satisfied with product, service, and store management.
-Ensure all product in the store is fresh and in stock.
-Manage inventory control procedures.
-Assist in the training of new team members.
-Monitor inventory to ensure product is in stock and back stock is available in time.
-Assist in the training of new staff members.
-Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
-Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
-Follow all company safety procedures and comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding work environment and goods sold. -Produce and maintain advertisements for the restaurant. -Create and maintain schedule for Front of the House. -Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Requirements:
·Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., occasionally up to 100 lbs. on a repetitive basis. Must be able to stand, bend, walk, climb stairs, reach, push pull, kneel pull for extended periods of time. Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English sufficiently to comprehend instructions, sales presentation and customer service practices. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team environment work in a fast-paced environment under pressure environment perform at a high level while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Must have excellent organization skills.
