Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
- Maintain an organized bar area, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with health regulations.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and taking drink orders efficiently.
- Handle cash register operations, including processing payments and managing tabs.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items during busy periods.
- Monitor inventory levels, assist in ordering supplies, and manage stock effectively.
- Uphold responsible alcohol service practices, checking identification to verify legal drinking age.
- Assist in setting up for special events or banquets as needed, ensuring all supplies are ready for service.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with brewing techniques and food handling practices is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours.
- Experience with cash register operations and basic financial transactions is beneficial.
- A background in hospitality or the food industry is a plus, particularly within restaurant settings.
