Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel valued and attended to.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system
- Serve food and drinks promptly while adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area.
- Provide recommendations on menu items and specials to enhance the guest experience.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints with professionalism.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food.
- Process payments accurately while performing basic math calculations as needed.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to answer guest questions effectively.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Server in a restaurant setting is preferred, but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems, is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests positively.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining health standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by the establishment.
- A team player who can work collaboratively with colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
