A small community hospital located just outside of La Crosse, Wisconsin is seeking a full-time, permanent Clinical Exercise Physiologist to join their team!
The Clinical Exercise Physiologist Job Opportunity:
- Full-time, direct hire opportunity
- Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm. No call, holidays or weekends.
- Great therapy leadership and administration team!
- The Clinical Exercise Physiologist duties include the opportunity to work in both rehabilitation and cardiac diagnostic service lines. The rehabilitation service lines include Cardiac, Pulmonary, PAD, and chronic disease management programs. The cardiac diagnostic service lines include cardiac stress tests, 12-lead EKGs, and cardiac monitors. Exercise physiology staff independently supervise cardiac stress tests including Treadmill Graded Exercise Tests, Treadmill/Supine Bike/Dobutamine Stress Echocardiograms, and Cardiolite Nuclear Stress Tests.
The Clinical Exercise Physiologist Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology with emphasis on Cardiac Rehabilitation strongly preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- AACVPR Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional and ACSM Clinical Exercise Physiologist certification required within one year.
- One to three years of cardiac rehabilitation experience preferred.
