A smaller hospital about an hour from Galesburg, IL is looking for an Athletic Trainer to join their team. Open to new grads!
Athletic Trainer Pay Range : $22-34 / hr
Athletic Trainer Opportunity :
Employment Type : Full-time, permanent
Shifts : Variable Day Shifts with some weekends as needed
Travel : Travel to local schools for games and events
Athletic Trainer Responsibilities
Athletic Screenings & Injury Management : Conducts screenings at schools, hospitals, and outpatient facilities; provides injury assessments and makes recommendations to athletes, coaches, parents, and physicians
Collaboration & Training : Works with the rehabilitation team (physicians, PTs, OTs) to develop training guidelines and modifications for athletes and coaches
Game Coverage & Rehabilitation : Provides on-site coverage during athletic events and assists with rehabilitation under the supervision of licensed therapists
Athletic Trainer Qualifications :
Licensure in Illinois or eligibility for licensure is required
Certification by the National Athletic Trainers Association is required
Current CPR and progress toward ACLS certification
