Family Nurse Practitioner

A hospital located 1.5 hours south of Santa Cruz, CA, is hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner. This full-time, permanent position offers competitive pay, excellent benefits, and a supportive team culture.

Pay : $75.00 - $99.19 / hour

Opportunity Highlights :

  • Schedule : Day shift, 10-hour shifts
  • Role : Follow current treatment protocols in collaboration with clinic physicians. The Family Nurse Practitioner will assume responsibility for treatment decisions regarding patient care, with support from a supervising physician.

Qualifications :

  • Education : Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Licensure : Active Registered Nurse / Nurse Practitioner license with the California Board of Registered Nursing; BLS, ACLS certification

    • Certification Requirements : Completion of an accredited program per California Code of Regulations (Section 1484) or current certification by one of the following :

    American Nurses Credentialing Center

  • American Academy of Nurse Practitioners
  • Pediatric Nursing Certification Board
  • National Certification Corporation (for Obstetric, Gynecologic, and Neonatal Nursing Specialties)
  • American Association of Critical-Care Nurses

    • Surrounding Area :

  • Local Attractions : Close to Pinnacles National Park, Santa Lucia Highlands wineries, and Big Sur.
  • Proximity : Less than 100 miles from Monterey, Santa Cruz, and Salinas.
  • Community Activities : Participate in the Salinas Valley Fair, explore local wineries, and visit historic missions like Mission San Miguel and Mission Soledad.

    • Salary : $75 - $99
