A facility located south of Garland, TX has an exciting opportunity for a Licensed Professional Counselor to join their growing team!
Pay Rate : $64,000 - $76,000 / Annually
Negotiable based on years of experience
Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor Opportunity :
Full time, direct-hire position
Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 AM– 5 PM
No on-call or after-hours work required!
Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor Responsibilities :
The Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor evaluates clients' mental health needs through interviews, assessments, and observation to identify potential diagnoses
Implement various therapeutic techniques like cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, or family therapy to address specific issues
Work one-on-one with clients to address personal challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship difficulties
Must be willing to work with geriatric clients
Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor Qualifications :
Master's degree
Must be a licensed clinical professional counselor with completed hours
Experience working with the geriatric population (preferred)
Must meet credentialing standards of employer and CMS
Willing to travel to assigned Nursing Homes within the local area
