The successful AutoCAD Technician candidate could work in our Jackson, GA office or possibly work remotely from home. They will be taking land survey field data, ascii coordinate files, LiDAR / Photogrammetry Point Cloud data and using Carlson or Leica software with AutoCAD to create or revise land survey plats.
This role will also add site plan information and other required data and info to the client's plats based on their needs and requests. In addition to CAD skills, we are looking for that person who is willing to learn and adapt to new technology (ie Point Cloud data / AI software) in order to find new and innovative ways to incorporate that data into survey plats.
The successful candidate will have a min. of 2 years' experience in land survey CAD work or a college degree in AutoCAD and some understanding of Land Surveying requirements and Point Cloud. Starting pay is based on experience and demonstrable skills.
