Event Security Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Event Security Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring the protection of property and personnel while enforcing company policies and procedures.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities.
• Perform access control duties, verifying identification of individuals entering the facility.
• Report any suspicious activities or security breaches to management immediately.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary during investigations or emergencies.
• Provide assistance in conflict management situations, de-escalating tensions as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for record-keeping purposes.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.

Skills

• CPR certification is preferred; first aid training is a plus.
• Experience in law enforcement or military service is advantageous.
• Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations effectively.
• Proficient in surveillance techniques and familiar with CCTV systems.
• Knowledge of loss prevention strategies to minimize risks to property and personnel.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential threats.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for reporting incidents clearly.
• Must have a ACTIVE DCJS Registration.
