Responsibilities
- Set up and operate screen printing machinery for various materials.
- Select and mix inks according to specifications for different projects.
- Prepare screens and substrates for printing processes to ensure optimal quality.
- Monitor the printing process to maintain high quality and consistency in prints.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment to prevent downtime.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure accuracy and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Keep accurate records of production runs, including materials used and time spent on each project.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in graphic design or printing technology is a plus.
- Proven experience as a screen printer or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of different printing techniques and materials used in screen printing.
- Familiarity with color theory and the ability to mix colors accurately for printing.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for quality control in finished products.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
