Ironwear is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Inventory Specialist to join our dynamic team! As a leader in PPE and Safety Equipment, we pride ourselves on maintaining high standards in our warehouse operations. The Warehouse Inventory Specialist will play a crucial role in managing inventory quality control and ensuring accuracy in stock levels. You will work collaboratively with warehouse personnel to monitor and improve inventory processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accurate stock counts
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, reorder supplies as necessary
- Utilize warehouse management software to track inventory movements
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality
- Assist in organizing the warehouse to optimize space and efficiency
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records
- Prepare reports on inventory status and recommend improvements
- Checking orders for accuracy
- Assist customers with picking up will-call orders
- Track incoming releases for shipment according to logging procedures
- Maintain showroom appearance and perform product refreshes as required
- Perform various other duties as assigned by the operations facility manager
Inventory Management
- Track and document inventory levels on a daily basis
- Implement inventory control measures to maintain stock accuracy
- Coordinate with the purchasing department to replenish stock as needed
- Organize and manage stock of incoming and outgoing products
- Ensure proper documentation is maintained for all inventory transactions
- Assist in the loading and unloading of products as needed
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least 1 year of experience in warehouse or inventory management
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in warehouse management software or inventory tracking systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Ability to multitask
